What is Coaching?

Coaching is somewhat similar to therapy but less formal, more flexible, and creative. We do not treat mental illnesses as coaches so we won't be limited by state and insurance regulations. People outside NYS or the US can also apply! Coaching sessions do not limit our self-disclosure. We can use more of our personal experiences to motivate you to grow.

What to expect?

After an honest inventory of your behavior and patterns, we will work together to remove the fears, doubts, and insecurities holding you back. Based on your specific coaching goals, we will work with you to

  • Determine your vision for personal and professional successIdentify your core values, strengths, and priorities so you can better leverage and honor them in your personal and professional life

  • Develop a self-care practice that will best serve you and support you in achieving your goals

  • Identify and manage fear, doubt, worry, or guilt that interferes with the changes you want to make in your life

  • Develop new best practices for time management and/or stress management

  • Identify and re-work negative perspectives, patterns, or old ways of thinking that no longer serve you or the pursuit of your goals

  • Break down your goals into small, achievable action steps that are big enough to move you forward and small enough to be realistic. Realistic goals are key to success.

  • Determine what will best motivate you and hold you accountable to your goals.

1:1 Consultation

Consultation Sessions are an informal, confidential, judgment-free space to talk about the things on your mind. There is no long-term commitment to a consultation session. 

Our conversations can be related ( but not limited) to sexuality, relationships, identity, professional development, etc. You are free to talk about your experiences, challenges, and curiosities and ask us questions. 

Whether you need a listening ear, someone to help process your thoughts or some friendly advice, these sessions are about you.

1:1 Mentorship

1-on-1 Mentorship is for folks interested in working together consistently over a period of 3-12 months or longer. 

I am an educator, a supportive friend, a mentor, and a guide to help you on YOUR journey towards liberation. 

1-on-1 mentorship is tailored specifically to your needs, while incorporating practices that have been helpful for past students/mentees that I've worked with.
