Intensive Individual Therapy

When weekly therapy isn’t enough, intensive therapy creates a protected space for deeper healing, insight, and emotional transformation.
Intensive Individual Therapy for Trauma, Attachment, Relationships & Sexuality
Intensive therapy is a concentrated therapeutic experience using extended sessions across one or several days to support deeper emotional work, continuity, and momentum beyond the limits of weekly therapy.

Who Intensive Therapy Is For
Intensive therapy may be a good fit if you:
-
Feel stuck in recurring patterns despite ongoing or past therapy
-
Are navigating complex trauma, including developmental or relational trauma
-
Want dedicated, uninterrupted time to work through emotional or relational challenges
-
Prefer a concentrated format due to time, travel, or life constraints
Areas of Focus
-
Psychological trauma, including developmental and relational trauma
-
Attachment patterns and relationship dynamics
-
Emotional regulation, boundaries, self‑worth, and personal agency
-
Communication, conflict, and connection in close relationships
-
Sexuality‑related themes as they intersect with trauma, attachment, and identity
All intensive work is grounded in trauma-informed, relational, and integrative approaches, with careful attention to pacing, safety, and client choice. The goal is not rapid fixing, but meaningful integration and increased capacity for change.

Structure & Format
Intensive therapy typically takes place over multiple extended sessions across one or more days. Formats vary based on clinical fit and individual needs, and may include:
-
Half‑day or full‑day sessions
-
Multi‑day intensives (for example, 2–3 days)
-
Built‑in breaks to support regulation, reflection, and integration
Including:
-
Assessment & Collaborative Goal-Setting
-
Stabilization, Resourcing & Orientation
-
Deep Experiential, Reflection & Therapeutic Work
-
Integration & Transformation
A required consultation session takes place before scheduling an intensive. This allows us to assess appropriateness, clarify goals, and collaboratively design the structure of the work.
Choice, Consent & Scope
All components of intensive therapy are optional and consent‑based. Clients are never required to explore any topic — including trauma or sexuality — unless they feel ready and supported.

Focus, pacing, and depth of work are collaboratively determined and can be adjusted at any point. Intensive therapy is not crisis intervention and may not be appropriate for all clients. When clinically indicated, alternative or additional supports may be recommended.
Fees & Policies
Fees for intensive services vary based on:
-
The clinician providing the service
-
Length and structure of the intensive
-
Individual clinical needs
Intensive therapy is offered on a private‑pay basis and is not billed through insurance. Specific fees, schedules, and policies are outlined in a personalized Service Agreement provided after the consultation.
